Memorial Day is finally here, and it’s time to start enjoying some summer cocktail recipes. Here’s one of our favorites from Charlotte Voisey that uses Art in the Age SNAP:
Corsair RED Absinthe is a unique interpretation on a classic, green spirit. The absinthe’s natural, red color comes from the addition of hibiscus flowers, which provide a floral note to the absinthe that is complimented by its flavors of tangy citrus, herbal undertones and a spicy, peppery finish.
Corsair RED can be enjoyed neat or on the rocks, but also works great in a variety of different cocktails. Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Warmer weather is just around the corner and once it arrives, it’ll be time to go outside and celebrate with your favorite friends and cocktails. The versatility of vodka makes it the perfect base for many spring cocktails, and that’s certainly true of the three TRU Vodkas. Here are some of our favorite ideas drink ideas, with inspiration from the distillers of TRU Vodka at The Greenbar Collective:
The Cucumber Cooler
2 oz. TRU Organic Vodka
1.5 oz. sour mix
2 cucumber slices
2 orange wedges
1 oz. seltzer or ginger beer
1 basil sprig
Muddle cucumber slices and orange wedges. Add together with vodka and sour mix into a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a tall glass filled with ice. Top with seltzer or ginger beer.
Vanilla Moscow Mule
2 oz. TRU Vanilla Vodka
1 oz. lime juice
6 oz. ginger beer
Stir vodka and lime juice in a tall glass. Add ice and top with ginger beer.
LBG (Lemon, Basil, Ginger)
2 oz. TRU Lemon Vodka
1/4 tsp. simple syrup
1/4 tsp. grated ginger
1 basil leaf
Add one lemon wedge, basil leaf, simple syrup and ginger into a shaker and muddle together. Add ice and vodka. Shake and strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. (Lemon twist is optional)
